Upgrade NPC
The Alpha HG Upgrader is at alpha_hall (58, 70). It offers six selected donation-headgear upgrade recipes, not universal upgrade access for every headgear.
Success and failure
| Rule | Script value |
|---|---|
| Success chance | 20% per attempt |
| Failure chance | 80% per attempt |
| Pity or guaranteed success | None in the script |
| On failed attempt | Base donation headgear survives; all other requirements are consumed |
Shared requirements
- One eligible base donation headgear.
- 10,000 Gold (item 969).
- 500 Alpha Credits (item 42201).
- 6 castle-drop materials in aggregate from the eligible pool.
- Additional recipe-specific materials shown by the selected NPC option.
Read this before upgrading
The upgrade is expensive and non-base materials are lost even on failure. The six eligible pairs and their extra materials should be verified against the current NPC selection before attempting; this draft does not promise an item is eligible.
